KEC is interested in hiring experienced linemen who hold a valid CDL License and have a minimum of 4 years experience. The level of experience would determine the entry level of the lineman. The position would require climbing utility poles, standing in a hydraulic bucket, installing transformers and other hardware on lines. The applicant must be able to learn to operate assigned equipment, including buckets, digger trucks, lift trucks, trenchers, winches, drills, and high compression tools. The applicant must be able to utilize a computer, navigate the internet and receive e-mails. The applicant must be able to learn new computer software programs as they come into use for daily work.
