2025 Government in Action Youth Tour Recipients
The Karnes Electric Board of Directors is proud to announce the sponsorship of two exceptional students from our service area to participate in the Youth Tour organized by Texas Electric Cooperatives (TEC). To be considered, students submitted applications and answered the essay prompt: “Describe a service project that would benefit your community.” Savanna Schuchart from Jourdanton ISD and Alyssa Pawelek from Fall City ISD were selected as the 2025 recipients and will proudly represent Karnes this summer in Washington, D.C. This exciting trip is scheduled for June 15-23, 2025. We are thrilled to congratulate these outstanding students. This is an incredible opportunity for them to engage in meaningful experiences and learn more about electrical cooperatives.
